How can you make sure you get fantastic deals at the next clothing sale you attend?

The simple truth is that many other people will probably be trying to get their hands on the same great sale items as you.

We all know that there is only a limited amount of sale stock available at most sales (it makes sense, normally the shop is trying to make way for new product!), so you will have to work hard to ensure you walk away with the items you want.

Here are a couple of handy hints to help you out at the next clothing sale.

First and foremost, familiarise yourself with the shop well before the sale begins. This means you need to spend a little time walking through the shop and learning where each group of items is located. Is there a section for the most recent fashions? Have the older clothes been put away in a certain corner? Is there a section dedicated to handbags or other accessories? Having this knowledge will allow you to most efficiently pick up items on sale day.

Secondly, speak to the sales staff right before the sale (the day before if possible), and find out the exact details of the sale. Is there a storewide discount or on certain items only? Is it a consistent discount amount or is there variation? Do you get an extra discount for spending a certain amount?
